Avenidas is excited to announce that The Redwood by Chef Julien is having a “soft open” next week, on Monday, Sept 19th. Chef Julien will start by offering a week’s worth of pre-made dinners that you can order and take home to enjoy. These delicious dinners are all pre-cooked and just need to re-heated per the instructions you’ll find on the lid.
Choices include such tasty entrees as sautéed shrimp, grilled New York steak, marinated kabobs and more! The price is $18.50—just $15 for Avenidas members. Your “Weekly Specials” order needs to be placed by Sunday at 4pm online at chefjulienpaloalto.com. Pick up your order at The Redwood (Avenidas @450 Bryant) each day between 12 noon and 3pm.

Read each day’s entrée description, and then scroll to “Items” and you’ll see Avenidas in a box for each different day. Click on the ones you wish to order. Then you can pick them up at the Redwood Café at Avenidas every day between 12 noon to 3pm M-F at 450 Bryant Street.)
The “official” grand re-opening will be Monday, Oct. 3. Café hours are Monday to Friday 8am–3 pm. In addition to the take-home dinners, a variety of coffees, pastries, sandwiches and other breakfast and lunch fare will be available as part of the daily menu.
