Alzheimer’s Workshop: “Effective Communication Strategies” / 有效的溝通策略-邀請阿滋海默症協會主講 (#7576)

This education program will be presented by the Alzheimer’s Association.
Teaches caregivers to decode verbal and behavioral communication by someone with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Participants leave with strategies for meaningful connection with people in early, middle and late stage dementia.
Gentle Yoga DEMO / 輕柔瑜珈 ⽰範課 (#7696)

It’s time to dust off your yoga mat and come join this Free Yoga demo with Teacher Sherry!
This 45-minute gentle yoga flow helps you find ease, joy and relaxation within through breathing and movement. Stay Tuned for our upcoming new Yoga sessions on Zoom in October.
Sherry has been practicing yoga and meditation for over a decade. Yoga and Meditation helped her transform herself and life completely. Now she is passionate about sharing the gift of yoga and meditation with others, Sherry is a 200-hour registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance.
Beginners welcome.

Annual Moon Festival & Virtual Food Celebration / 中秋佳節網上美⻝ ⽂化慶祝 (#7715)

Let’s celebrate the annual Moon Festival together with food! This one-hour virtual food tour will be a fun way to learn and pre-celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival! Food, traditional mooncake demo and making new friends. You do not want to miss this fun. Virtual Food Tour presented by Teacher Ingrid Lai.
