To see the change that we’re able to make with our older adult participants, even after one session, has been just really wonderful.Ryan Kawamoto, regional director for Senior Planet from AARP@Avenidas
We Want to Hear from You!
Did you know that nearly 22 million seniors are still offline? Only 18% say they are comfortable learning a new technology on their own. We need your help to imagine a future without this “digital divide.”
Senior Planet wants to know:
- What’s your vision of a world where seniors felt perfectly comfortable accessing and using the latest technology?
- What would seniors use it to do or achieve?
- How do you think the world would change?
Senior Planet @Avenidas is excited to announce new virtual programming intended to encourage the continuation of learning, the development of stronger social connections online, and engagement in substantive and fun conversations during this period of isolation.
If you activate a Zoom account, we encourage you to create your own Zoom meetings to keep in touch with your friends and family, and please do not hesitate to share the instructions with your friends and family!
Avenidas tech tutors are available to help you learn what you need to know to get started or to use your device more effectively.
