Patients and Caregivers–The New Unit of Care

May 26, 2021

Supporting caregivers and guiding the conversation with providers

Eldercare experts Dr. Ellen Brown and Dr. Rita Ghatak talk about the new unit of care that has emerged: patients and caregivers.

In 2016, the Center for Disease Control stated that due to many factors, family caregivers’ health and well-being are at risk. The talk will explore the need for health providers to meet with both patient and caregiver, to assess relationship dynamics, trigger points and stress management strategies, self-care.

Watch this interactive dialogue with our two elder care experts during this critical conversation.
