Wise Owl Players stages Davis’ ‘Deleted.’
The Wise Owl Players is an acting troupe comprised of adults 50 and over who perform dramatized staged readings. The Palo Alto-based nonprofit Avenidas sponsors the program, which offers drama classes for older adults – including storytelling and creative writing – taught by Davis.

Written by Los Altos resident and former children’s librarian Enid Davis, “Deleted.” details the lives of fictional characters deleted from their authors’ manuscripts. The abandoned figures come together in an emotional support group, resulting in a comedic murder-mystery tale.
