Showing Our History LGBTQ Art Workshop

April 13, 2022 , 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm PDT
Join Avenidas Rainbow Collective, the Palo Alto Art Center, and artist and curator Marcel Pardo Ariza (they/them) in a series of free artmaking workshops focused on identity and visibility.
Over four sessions, participants will combine personal photographs and archived images to create collages that blend the past and present, showcasing and celebrating their LGBTQ+ experience in community.
No art experience necessary! We’ll have snacks at each session.
Completed works from these workshops will be exhibited in the Palo Alto Art Center’s community gallery space. Don’t miss this opportunity to come together in the spirit of creativity and community to document our unique history and experience!
Please bring proof of vaccination and masks as required by Santa Clara County.
