Send Money Safely
February 15 , 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm PST
Put away those checkbooks! Learn how to safely send money online to friends and family.
In this first “Tech with Tony” presentation, we will review and compare the most popular apps for sending money: PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle. Popular usage of these apps includes splitting a dinner check, paying for services like a housekeeper, paying rent, and buying some produce at a Farmer’s Market.
Importantly, we’ll also cover some tips for avoiding scams.
Disclosure: Tony works at PayPal, which owns Venmo.
