National AIDS Awareness Day
December 1, 1:00 pm–3:00 pm PSTFree
World AIDS Day is a day to remember, to honor, and to be educated. Avenidas Rainbow Collective invites you to do just that.
- The effects HIV has on the brain and a person’s mental health by Dr. Lawrence McGlynn, MD, (psychiatrist)
- The physical effects of HIV and what it means to be undetectable by Dr Andre Zolopa (infectious Disease Doctor)
- Resources for people living with HIV by Molly Herzig (Case Manger w/Health Trust)
If you have lost a loved one to HIV/AIDS, we invite you to submit the name and relationship of that person when you register so that we may honor their memory together during the event.
All registered participants will receive a keepsake red ribbon pin, so sign up today!
