Dot Mandala Workshop: Coasters

Dot Mandalas are beautiful, unique works of art created by using specialized tools. This is a very peaceful and almost meditative art form that reduces stress, quiets the body, and lets the inner artist blossom.Step-by-step, dot-by-dot, Katherine will guide you in a different project each month. She’ll teach you how to use the tools and build the pattern, as well as more advanced techniques such as top-dotting.
Each student will complete a set of four coasters, as shown in the picture, by the end of class. They will also have a chance to look at, learn about, and experiment with various other coaster materials during the course of the class.
Each participant will receive a kit containing everything they need for each project including the monthly project pieces, tools, paint, techniques, and instruction.

How to Participate
$80 for Avenidas members; $95 for non-members. Course fee includes the price of the kit. If you have a kit from a previous class with Katherine, please let her know at the first class.
