Unmarried Same Sex Couples Now Eligible for Social Security Survivor Benefits
Another Step Towards the Equitable Treatment of LGBTQ Older Adults.
We will discuss how this benefits those people whose long-term partner had passed away before 2015 when same sex marriage was legalized and how they can access these benefits.
Let us also discuss the progress our society has made toward acceptance and inclusion of same sex couples and other groups within the LGBTQ Community.
