Timing is Everything: Best Practices for Designating Your Durable Power of Attorney.
Attorney Deborah Radin will highlight the critical importance of proactively designating three trusted parties as your health and financial decision-makers, selection criteria for who is best qualified to act on your behalf, DPOA form authorization protocols, options for updating and or rescinding original designees, and who should have copies of these forms.
Radin and moderator Paula Wolfson, LCSW, Avenidas Care Partners Manager, will share lessons learned from the pandemic for securing your financial resources, treatment preferences during times of a medical crisis and if declared by medical professionals that you are lacking competency.
