AARP Smart Driver Refresher
October 19, 2022 , 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm PDT
Please note: this is the REFRESHER course. You must have taken the FULL course within the past three years to be eligible to take this course.
Cars have changed. So have the traffic rules, driving conditions, and the roads you travel every day. Some drivers age 50+ have never looked back since they got their first driver’s licenses, but even the most experienced benefit from brushing up on their driving skills.
You can expect to learn current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. You’ll learn adjustments to accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time.
Students who complete the course may be eligible for a discount on auto insurance. Discounts may vary. Check with your insurance agent before completing the course.
