Dear Avenidas Supporters,
The health and well-being of the community we serve is of utmost importance to Avenidas, and we have been continuously reviewing all the latest developments regarding COVID-19, as well as diligently following the best practices outlined by the CDC, WHO, and the Department of Public Health.
While no staff or participants have shown any signs of having the virus, we have decided that we should act with an abundance of caution and temporarily close down our three centers.
Our flagship center, Avenidas@450 Bryant, and our second Enrichment Center, Avenidas@Cubberley, will be closed tomorrow, Friday, March 13.
We are working to help transition those who attend our day health program in Mountain View, the Avenidas Rose Kleiner Center, and will close that facility at the end of the day tomorrow, March 13.
We are taking these steps voluntarily in order to fully support the health and wellness of our public, but also our staff. This is an extraordinary, temporary, and hopefully short-term situation which we will continue to assess on a week-by-week basis.
We hope you all stay healthy and safe.
Sincerely,
Amy Andonian
Avenidas President & CEO
