Conferences and Special Events
Avenidas presents several conferences a year on topics designed to help older adults and their families. Conferences include Housing in the winter, Fitness Camp in the summer, and a conference about Caregiving in the fall.
In May of each year, Avenidas hosts an annual event honoring notable seniors and their accomplishments, called Lifetimes of Achievement. This is our only fundraising event of the year. Throughout the year, Avenidas also hosts a variety of special events, from musical performances to special lectures to holiday celebrations.
